Colour of the flowers: long drooping racemes of bluish-lilac coloured, scented 'pea-like' flowers

Height: 4,5 meter (15 feet), fast growing

Flowering Period(s): April - May (sometimes till July)

Ideal position: full sun

Pruning: Renowned for its superior fragrance and flower-colour, the twining stems need careful pruning.

Other features: Fully hardy. Pendant clusters of fragrant, pea-like, bluish-lilac flowers in May and June, often followed by velvety-green seed-pods.
